Belfast to London

Belfast:

We’re so spoiled in the states, errrrrr west coast, when it comes to free WIFI.  It seems nearly everywhere we travel here charges for Internet access, ergo the reason for lack of posts last week.

Belfast was a bit quick, but nice; we enjoyed Anna and her man Shughie.  We were blessed with good eats, and a lot of interesting history from the both of them.  Thanks guys!

We visited Carrickfergus Castle in Northern Ireland (building started in 1180).

London:

We visited what Megan considers to be Heaven; the Borough Market in southeast London; head over to www.bohomeme.blogspot.com for the whole story.

The cheeses were amazing, and many were made with Raw Milk!

 Ostrich steak sandwich.

Megs and I have decided to try and take part in a service each week if possible.  Where else to begin than Westminster!  It was Established in 1066, and the current Abbey was built in 1245.

I was in awe the moment I saw the Abbey, and felt as if I were partaking in something sacred, at least historic!  If you’ve never been inside of a gothic cathedral, I’d say do it!

The manner in which it was erected is fantastic, the choir angelic, and the rhythm of the service smooth, but the teaching seemed a bit odd.  Sunday was animal compassion day (or something like that), so what else was the lecture on than how we as Jesus followers should care for animals.  It was good, but not what I expected.

And next, just a few picts of the fantastic St. Paul in London
